JOB SCOPE AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Full accounting knowledge.
• Tax knowledge.
• At least 3 years of audit experience with a Big 4.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in closing full set accounts (commercial experience in construction is preferred).
• Preparation of monthly group financial statements, including joint-venture financial statements.
• Experience in consolidated financial statements will be an added advantage.
• Prepare and submission of VAT and monthly tax.
• Prepare draft corporate tax and deferred tax computation.
• Assist to prepare financial budgeting and forecasting.
• Handle financial analysis on P&L and balance sheet.
• Maintain fixed assets register.
• Maintain a list and copy of all agreements and contracts.
• Assist in enhancement of the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures.
• Monthly reporting to Finance Manager and Financial Controller within the prescribed timeline.
• Liaison with banker, external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary where appropriate.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Hands-on experience for keeping accounts is preferred but not a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications; knowledge of ACCPAC is a must.
• Knowledge of corporate tax and deferred tax computation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
