Position Summary:
The OPERATIONAL MANAGER will lead, direct and control all facets of Customer Experience operations with an emphasis on member service, relation and overall gym administration.
Requirement:
Management/Leadership Duties
• Manage Front Desk, Customer Experience and 3rd party Associates to ensure policies and procedures as outlined in the Gym Standard Operation are followed at all times.
• Manage and motivate Customer Experience and 3rd Party Associates to emphasize superior customer service.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings with these departments.
• Budgets and schedules Customer Experience and 3rd party associates staff coverage.
• Ensure that all employees are wearing proper uniform attire and nametags.
• Position is a scheduled customer Experience position in addition to supervisory duties. Exception is that this incumbent will be scheduled to work during peak hours.
Operations Support
• Communicates with other club department leaders regarding ways to improve Customer Experience and other club operations.
• Oversees “Lost and Found” items and their storage.
• Responsible for making periodic cash deposits to avoid too much cash in registers.
• Inspect cash register drawer counts and complete after-shift reports.
• Responsible for the control of cash deposit by assisting the finance manager with ensuring the daily deposit is made on time.
• Properly manage and maintain operational budget.
Administrative
• Serves as liaison with Customer Experience Department.
• Attends required training and management meetings.
• Maintains monthly Customer Experience staffing meeting.

• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of basic cash procedures.
• Thorough understanding of the software system.
• Ability to handle challenging customer issues with patience, tact, and professionalism.
• Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and work ethic.
